Este modelo fue creado en el año 1980 en conmemoración del 10º aniversario del Apolo 11 (1969). Es el primer modelo Omega con fondo visto.
El calibre 863 está basado en el 861 y va decorado con piezas chapadas en oro y "Côtes de Genève".
